Women Empowerment

When women rise, communities rise

Support this cause

Women hold families and villages together, yet often have the least say and the least income. We help women build confidence, savings, skills and a stronger voice, individually and together.

The challenge

[1–2 verified facts about this issue in our area, with source — e.g. NFHS-5 or Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) data for the state]

What we do
  • Forming and strengthening women’s self-help groups (SHGs)
  • Financial literacy, savings and access to bank credit
  • Leadership training so women take part in panchayat and village decisions
  • Awareness sessions on rights, health and safety
  • Help for women to access government schemes and entitlements
  • Support for women-led enterprises (with our Skills, Entrepreneurship & Livelihoods programme)
