Questions about giving
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. You’ll receive a receipt by email as soon as your donation goes through. After the financial year ends, we also send the official certificate of donation for your tax records.
Why do you need my PAN?
The law requires us to report donations with the donor’s PAN so that you can claim your deduction. We keep it secure and never share it for any other purpose.
Can I choose where my money goes?
Yes. Pick a cause on the form and your donation will be used for that programme. “Where it’s needed most” lets us direct it to the most urgent work.
Can NRIs or foreign nationals donate?
Indian citizens, including NRIs, can donate. We cannot accept donations from foreign nationals or foreign organisations at present because we do not hold FCRA registration.
How do I stop a monthly donation?
Use the cancel link in your receipt email, or write to donate@jilanifoundation.org. Cancellation takes effect from the next payment.
Is paying online safe?
Yes. Payments are processed by an RBI-authorised payment gateway. We never see or store your card or bank details.
